About Liberty Energy Company Limited

Liberty Energy Company Limited (LEC) is a Nepali hydropower company listed on NEPSE under the Hydro Power sector. It was incorporated in December 2009 as a private limited company and converted to a public limited company in March 2016. The company's flagship project is the 25 MW Upper Dordi 'A' Hydroelectric Project, a run-of-river scheme located in Dordi Rural Municipality, Lamjung district, Gandaki Province. The project obtained its generation license from the Ministry of Energy in April 2014, valid for 35 years. LEC has also been associated with the small 1.6 MW Lodo Khola Small Hydropower Project. The company sells power to the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) under a long-term power purchase agreement.
